Blue Star Power Systems, Inc provides new gaseous and diesel generators using popular engines from Cummins, John Deere, GM, Volvo and others. Marathon generators and those made by other well known manufacturers are also used. ASCO is the most common ATS provided on Blue Star gensets, but others are available if specifically requested by the customer.
Blue Star is also known for building custom units to meet the exact requirements of most any application.

About a decade ago, DESI created a nationwide network of companies who provide generators via the surplus equipment market. Over the years we’ve been selling generators using this channel, we have sold new (never installed), used low hour and rebuilt generators. Most of these units have been Caterpillar and Cummins units, however, with all the resources available to us, we have sold other brands as well. With surplus equipment we focus on commercial/industrial applications only, and in the 100KW to 2500KW range.
If funding is difficult to obtain and/or quick delivery is of the utmost importance, the surplus equipment market can provide some very attractive solutions for generators, ATS’s and, if the application requires transparent ride through, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) as well.
